Dear Families,

We hope that everyone is doing well and has remained healthy during these challenging times. We would like to thank all of you for your continued support throughout the school closure. We know that it has not been easy and recognize the important role that you, as parents, play in helping your child be successful.

We have designated two days for drop-off of school work and pick-up of student belongings in the elementary school.  The first opportunity will be Thursday, June 4th, from 12:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.  You can also come by Tuesday, June 9th, from 6:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  Any work that your child has completed (not all students will have work to turn in if they have participated in online learning) can be turned in on this day for grading. Teachers have collected all personal items from the classrooms/lockers and these can be picked up during this time as well. Your child’s teacher will contact you if you have items here.  Any items not retrieved by the end of the second day will be either disposed of or packed up and donated.  Chromebooks will need to be returned towards the end of the school year on Wednesday, June 17th, between the hours of 12:00 and 7:30.  All borrowed chrome books must be returned on this day.

To honor the important milestones for your child as the school year comes to a close, we will be hosting a final farewell for all grade levels UPK-6, on Monday, June 15th (rain date: June 16th).  In an effort to abide by all safety guidelines, we will be hosting drive-thru events in our school parking lot. Teachers will be there to pass out certificates to students in the grade levels that traditionally have an end of the year celebration or graduation. All other grade levels are welcome to come at 3:00 for a “reverse parade.” Teachers and staff members will be there to cheer students on and give our final farewell wave for the year. As we are trying to make this as special for the students as possible, we are reminding everyone that they will need to remain in their cars. Teachers and staff will be wearing masks and will be appropriately distanced apart from one another.   The schedule of drive-thru events is as follows:

  • 12:00 – UPK Celebration
  • 1:00 – Kindergarten Celebration
  • 2:00 – 6th Grade Graduation
  • 3:00 – Final Farewell and reverse parade for all grade levels

As always, please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Warm regards,

Ms. Amy Netti                                                                        Mrs. Sarah Fleming
