On Thursday afternoon, October 1st, Hoosick Falls Central School District was informed of a second high school student testing positive for COVID-19. This case DOES NOT impact the school district. The high school student has not been on the Hoosick Falls campus for 13 days as they have attended classes remotely from home during this time.


Additionally, the Rensselaer County Department of Health posted a third teenager has tested positive in the community. This student does not attend Hoosick Falls CSD. Neither of these individuals have had contact with the student body on campus since
exposure and the building was thoroughly cleaned/disinfected on Tuesday, September 29th.


Rensselaer County Department of Health has determined that school operations may continue as normal.
