We are thrilled to announce that our middle school is participating in "What's So Cool About Manufacturing®"! This is a first-of-its-kind contest in NYS led by the@center_for_economic_growth that encourages middle school students to engage with local manufacturers and produce real-world, project-based videos that spotlight careers and pathways in manufacturing while highlighting "What's So Cool About Manufacturing®". There are 10 Capital Region school districts participating in this video contest and HFCS was paired with the local division of Saint-Gobain. Students recently visited Saint-Gobain with their "Project Coaches" Mr. Bundrick, Mr. Dailey, and Ms. Livingstone, to take an initial tour of the facility and learn more about what products are made here in town.
